INTERESTING GROUP OF 3 MOSASAUR TEETH from the Late Cretaceous
Here we can see three Mosasaur teeth who belong to the species Prognathodon giganteus & Globidens phosphaticus from the upper Maastrichtian phosphates of the Ouled Abdoun Basin in Morocco, North Africa. Those giant sea monsters are contemporaries of the North American Tyrannosaurus rex !
Size : 9,9 cm long (Prognathodon) and 1,8 cm (for both Globidens).
The Prognathodon specimen is huge and fully rooted.
No restoration or repair.
