Incredibly rare bony coral reef fish : Macrosemius rostratus dating to the late Jurassic period (151 Million-Year-Old) from Southern Germany. This fish belongs to one of the rarest fish species found in the Solnhofen area. The contrast between the white natural matrix and the fossil is really beautiful. This fish originates from a private german collection.
