Very fine carnivorous dinosaur (theropod) footprints discovered under the sea !
This dinosaur was certainly a close relative to the world famous DILOPHOSAURUS
Ths slab was discovered in 1967 under the sea on the french coast in Vendée at Talmont Saint Hilaire. It originates from a french private collection. Some serpula and other modern marin animal are still on the stone. We can see very well the CLAW MARKS.
Size of the slab : 39 cm x 36 cm
Period : Early Jurassic (Hettangian)
Locality : Talmont St. Hilaire, Vendée, France.
Perfectly concave specimens. Very beautiful details. There is no restoration or repair.
The stone is unbroken with the footprint perfectly in the center.
